March has been a great month for ShareRing, with exciting meetings, brand new app additions, and new major partnerships.

Exciting Partnerships and PoC Meetings

Despite the COVID-19 Pandemic, ShareRing has been pressing on. Tim Bos, CEO of ShareRing, has attended several high-level meetings in Thailand this month.

We’re pleased to say that we are close to signing a contract for one of the largest blockchain rollouts on a national level. This partnership will result in a nationwide adoption of our Proprietary OneID Technology for a leading insurance provider in Asia. 

Moreover, ShareRing has been selected to build and implement an extensive logistics tracking and sharing system for a major globally recognized logistics transport company.

As our early supporters will know, we are not only focused on the travel sector. Our platform has been developed for the sharing, travel, insurance and transport sectors, and we have been focusing heavily on all those areas. Our first consumer-focused app just happened to be in travel, but we aren’t a one-trick pony. We already have paid projects in place and real transactions waiting to flow into Shareleger. We expect these partners to be announced once they have deployed and are fully operational on ShareLedger.

Postponing ShareRing’s Travel App Launch and Contest

As you are all aware, the travel industry has been suffering a lot over the past couple of months, and it’s going to get worse before it gets better.

Because of this, we’ve decided that we will postpone the ShareRing Travel App as well as the Launch Contest until the travel industry starts to recover.

This delay will give us a few opportunities to focus on improving our infrastructure and building some other apps for new partners that we have as discussed above. Going forward, our focus will be on the following four areas of improvement and new development:

1. Platform optimization and improvements.
2. Blockchain feature and explorer improvements
3. Staking and pooling via an application
4. Development of Insurance, logistics tracking system and various other engagements for our partners.
